Taking a very non-traditional route to software engineering and front-end development, I started life out as a Marketer. Earning a marketing degree and going on to build a career in digital marketing for 10 years. Although I always had a very keen interest in technology, I never fully committed to making the career change, until hitting 30. I guess you could say that the 30 number scared me into making this change.
I had a good career in marketing but there was something missing. I love building things and solving logical problems. Even through marketing I would always try to figure out better, more efficient ways of doing things.
